Here in the United States, politics are very polarized, to put it mildly, and U.S. citizens have so many messages that they will have to sort through. Therefore, it is imperative that the right voice is telling your political story. Your voice over talent must speak directly to the viewer, listener and be able to cut through all the other chatter. The viewer, listener needs to be able to not only hear the voice but feel the voice. They need to believe that the political ad is telling them what they need or want to hear. Whether the voter needs to feel safe and protected or alarmed and protective, the voting public now insists on believability.
It’s important that the right voice connects with your viewers and listeners. Perhaps your project needs a warm, wholesome mother voice to let people know that your candidate is trustworthy (positive ads). They want to be comforted and to know that things are good.
